The Mazarin is our scarf-print two-piece — an easy, open-collar shirt and a high, wide-leg trouser cut from fluid satin that pours when you move. The print is the point: an ornamental paisley in gold, coral and plum on deep grotto teal, with a framed border running the placket and the leg, the way a treasured silk foulard is bordered. It's the kind of heritage motif that's traveled from Kashmir shawls to the Riviera and back — worn, not costumed.

Wear it as a set, then take it apart. The shirt goes with white denim and a tan belt; the trousers go with a plain tee and a flat leather sandal. A structured straw tote and a gold hoop are all the interruption a satin this good needs to read lunch-on-the-terrace rather than anything softer. Under the full leg, a nude slip short keeps you moving without a second thought.
