A scarf-print caftan in warm cane brown, cut long and easy with a tailored point collar and a full row of buttons down the front — so it skims where lesser dresses cling, and falls in one unbroken line to the ankle. The paisley is drawn small and low-contrast and framed like a silk foulard, closer to Hermès than to anything boho; the ecru border and collar sit right at the face, where you want the light.

Open the collar at the throat and it's a dinner. Button it up against the restaurant air-conditioning and it's a plane. The hemp blend breathes, holds its shape instead of grabbing, and softens a little more with every wash — the kind of dress you reach for on the mornings you have somewhere to be and no interest in deciding.
