The bodice does the quiet work: a seamed, structured panel that meets the ribs and marks the waist just above its natural line, so the full skirt falls from a point of shape rather than pouring straight down. Wide-set straps in deep russet sit securely on the shoulder — no slipping, no digging — and the square neck lies flat against the sternum, cut to hold rather than gape. A concealed back zip keeps the whole bodice fitted and true.
