The bodice is built, not just sewn — a structured corset with shaped cups that lift and hold, so the sweetheart neckline stays exactly where you place it. The lace-up back isn't only beautiful; those crossed ties let you set the fit to your own ribcage, cinch by cinch. Below, the line pours close through the waist and hip and releases — low, past the widest part — into a fishtail that moves when you do. This is the gentler cousin of the true mermaid: enough sweep to feel cinematic, enough give to sit, turn, and dance in.

The butter yellow is doing quiet work. It's the warm, sun-softened neutral of the season — and the gold-and-cream flowers climbing the bodice sit right at the face, framing it, keeping the shade luminous rather than pale. Wear it with a warm lip and let the embroidery do the rest.
