The waist is the quiet genius. A defined, seamed band sits just beneath the bust and lets the skirt fall from a fixed edge in one long, moving column — the raised line that lengthens without ever bunching where you don't want it. Self-tie shoulder straps mean you set the fit yourself, to the millimetre, and the smocked back holds everything exactly where you left it.
